G Got Robbbbbbbbed!!!!

So every ones been wondering where I've been up to lately and why I'm so "away" and behind the scenes.... Well to be honest, Ive been in a turmoil of bad situations, one after the other till last Friday!!

The summary:

Date and Time: July 20th, 12.35 am
Maw8i3 al jareeema : Al Hidd
Al jareema al murtakaba: they broke my car window, stole my hidden handbag :(
Evidence: Finger prints, blood stain
What I lost: EVERYTHING WAS IN THAT BAG :'(

The StorY:

It all started in a sunny day where i was meeting my friends at work for lunch at the Banyan tree, its quite a long way, and a long day. You know when u wake up with a funny feeling, knowing that something will happen to you this very certain day?!!

Well unfortunately that was exactly what was in my mind all day long. Night time comes and dear old G's mummy tells her she wants to go to her friends "henna night" in Al- hidd. What I would usually do is to try to get outta it the best I can, but y'know when mums NAG!!!

So i go with a harsh feeling in my tiny heart with that weird feeling in me. We reach there at 10.25pm, leave at 12.35... and .... my poor car window was bashed with a rock, and I found out that my handbag that i hid in my car's hand rest was gone!!

What I learnt:

Bahrain is no longer a safe place to live in.

The person who stole my handbag was a 14-15 year old

The person who stole my handbag is still not captured.

I doubt that he will.

My brothers are angels. **they left the police station the next day at 7.30am**

Never EVER leave ANYTHING in your car

Insurance is GOOD!! They're paying the costs to repair my car and are paying to replace my personal belongings (wallet, handbag, glasses etc.)

and At the end of the day, i just pray god that me and my mum are safe and sound and not hurt.

my poor baby!

the finger prints

anyways you cute people... I miss you, what have you been upto??

Dedicated To Every Omani..

Cyclone Gonu's power was waning on Friday, after it killed at least 35
people and wrought damage in energy producers Oman and Iran in the previous
days.

Oman's police had raised its status to high alert and the state media urged
people to bolt and board up their doors and windows and ensure they had a supply
of torches and candles.

"All the different disaster preparation and management agencies have been
working throughout this week in anticipation of the worst case scenario," said
Ahmad al-Harthi.

"I believe we are well-prepared." - Reuters

Our hearts and prayers are with all the Omani People.. may God embraces you the strength to get through this catastrophe.. you are all one of a kind, one of a country, and make each and every Khaleeji proud of you... أنا الله وأنا اليه راجعون

Long time noooo seeee!!

Yes yes I know i know!! its been quite a while... i haven't blogged in quite some time or even visited your blogs recently... but I guess that's the price you pay for concentrating your time on one specific thing.

If you're wondering what I was up to, i was wrapped up with work and my family, and it was taking the best of me.. I'm trying my best to prove myself since I'm working up the ladder in an organization which is an international brand with cheap stake contributors here in Bahrain. I had to leave the country to gain the foundation guidelines for this promotion, and ever since, I've been head over heals.

I mean its comforting to my mental state that all the hard work that I'm doing isn't going to waste, but the peer pressure and the job requirement is very harsh. I guess being the sweet new girl won't be an option when the old cash cows were in the same job for the past 8 years without any raise, simply come and see me taking the advantage right in front of their eyes. Having said that, its making a rough competition between everyone to prove themselves which is benefiting the company ironically.

Enough said about little ..G.., I hope that all of you are well, god knows I do miss you all my cyber bloggie friends :) and thanks to the sweet people to asked about me **hugs and smooches**

On another note...

Its quite frightening how Bahrain is really small nowadays. Y'know you're sitting there minding your own business, til someone is next to you... you chit chat, open a conversation, they ask which family u come from, where you live, what your family does.... and BANG! you're entire family time line is being disguised by this stranger!! yes its true that's how small Bahrain is, we're either related, in-laws, study buddies or related from far away.. or even neighbours.

Everyone who's anyone is known in Bahrain.. you can't get away with anything.. Your car plate number is your identity, wherever your car goes, the third of Bahrain knows where you've gone and who with that last weekend. Your surname is like the open door to your house where people know who's the black sheep from the spender from the bad seed. Lool if your Bahraini reading this you're probably having a few scenarios that already have encountered you. I mean its nice how EVERYONE in Bahrain is linked in a way, but whats frightening is that even your most private information is on public display.

One example is the few retail banks on the island. They have call centers for clients like you and me where any account information is enclosed with your CPR number (that's our government id number). These Call Centers have recruited some of the young Bahraini nationals mostly looking for summer training or an entrance to well based Bank to work for. Unfortunately, with the frequency of the recruitment's, a lot of wide mouth people have been there.... spreading the word where so and so has been on holiday and what they spent, whether they were drinking on their last cruise or not.. finding which was the last transaction that girl made in a specific branded trademark, and how much so and so's father salary is.

To me, that's waaaaaay over the line... I mean c'mon these brats know where mostly everyone is spending their money coz both you and I know most Bahrainis only use the 1 of the best 3 banks of Bahrain. This is taking over every ones privacy, and I've seen those brats talking right in front of me which is disturbing.

Whether or not Bahrain is small or not, but this is a matter of principle.

How about you?

The thoughts linger in your mind, asking your self various questions. Day and night, noon or dawn. it may be in the middle of an exam, a meeting, in the bathroom, anytime of day, you're mind has a tendency to escape where you are.

Some thoughts are easy to percept, others hard to process. Life is nothing but a turmoil wrapped in beautiful wrapping paper representing happiness in all its shapes and sizes.

There are some who like to slowly open the wrapping paper, making their excitement grow bit by bit till they reach their desired state. Others just want to tear it all apart all at once, shaking it up and down, pleasurably destroying it to find what's in stall for them.

Don't always be slow in opening your wrapping paper.. the excitement may deteriorate and diminish while you do, and you may loose what you've partially expected from what part of happiness you may get. On the other hand, don't be so quick in opening that gift, there's been a lot of time in effort in wrapping that wrapping paper, you may have high expectations and will be disappointed. You may loose that happiness by concocting each step and thought that you may enjoy.

Love yourself, be hurt (and kick that person's ass in return), be wise, learn from your mistakes, grow with intelligence, make the best of who you are, strive to succeed no matter hard you think it may be. Don't compare yourself to flan ou 3alan. 5alkom min 7achy il nas, lat'3irkom il mathahir, in the end its nothing but wrapping paper. You get to choose whether you want to reveal it slowly or instantly. Be careful in making your decisions, and if they turn out like crap, don't worry… theres always a way to solve them and learn from them.

I'm not here to judge you, I'm not here to annoy you. I'm just here to burp out my thoughts that may seem either lame, terrific or neutral to you.

My response to you..

simply be yourself…

but remember this. Do some good, praiseworthy and respectable deeds in your life, being a complete pain in the ass won't do you any good.

Make yourself remembered.

Make the people who know you and surround you proud of knowing you.

You may never know when you may leave this life, you may never know if you're actually able to open that wrapper one day.

Yalla guys the weekend is just around the corner, live your life and do something new for a change..

As for me, I'm pampering myself, forgetting each and every pain in the ass shitless pathetic thought in my mind.

A7ibkom cute bloggers, I really do :)

P.s. Can you understand me now, baby? Do you believe me? (8)
